What this service does

Give It Smaller is an online file compression tool. You upload files, we compress them, and you download the smaller versions. The service is currently in early access and may change over time.

Acceptable use

You may use this service for lawful purposes only. You agree not to upload:

• Malware, viruses, or other harmful files
• Content that infringes on someone else's intellectual property
• Illegal content of any kind

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service to anyone who misuses it.

Your files

You retain full ownership of any files you upload. We do not claim any rights over your content. Files are processed for compression only and are deleted automatically once processing is complete. We do not store, review, or share your files.

Service availability

We aim to keep the service running smoothly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We may need to take the service offline for maintenance or updates without prior notice.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Give It Smaller and its operators are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of data, interruption of service, or any issues resulting from file compression. Always keep a backup of your original files.

Pricing

The service is currently offered at no charge during early access. We reserve the right to introduce paid plans or change pricing in the future. If we do, functionality currently offered at no charge may be adjusted. We will provide reasonable notice of any pricing changes.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
